Congratulations! You are now part of the history and future of Anum as your donations have helped to complete the brand new and improved Anum Pre-School. The members of CHI visited the school several times throughout the course of this year and our progress thus far is astounding! The students and staff could not be happier with their new school building.
Looking Back
2005
We certainly have come a long way since the project first launched in July 2005, and we could not have done any of this without you--our faithful and generous CHI supporters. The UN has announced a bold goal of universal primary education for all students worldwide by 2015, and as supporters of Children’s Health International we applaud you for being active proponents in this global effort which will help to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger worldwide. As several of our students only attend school through the elementary grades, it is crucial that we all continue to be a part of this fundamental movement.
2006
Another UN Millennium Development Goal is to “combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases” and as members of CHI, we would like to invite you to participate in our first annual medical mission trip for Children’s Health International taking place from October 12th-October 22nd, 2008 in Anum, Ghana. Please be on the look out for further details to come in the near future. In the meantime we are asking for volunteers to help in the preparation of this life changing trip.
